Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association and Ocean Park Hong Kong co-organise the ‘Blue Hero Mission Ocean Park Fun Day’ to commend participants who have been actively participating in Learn-to-Swim Programme. Students are required to take different challenges related to conservation and environmental protection. A “Blue Hero” badge will be awarded to participants completing all the challenges.
Students with attendance rate of 80% or above in all 20 lessons and previously consented to participate this event in the Learn-to-Swim application form will be invited to the Fun Day. Parents/guardians will receive email and SMS with registration details, please register for the talk on or before 16th November 2017 (Thursday).
If the activity is oversubscribed, a ballot will be held at 10:00am on 21st November 2017 (Tuesday) at ‘Jockey Club Learn-to-Swim Programme for Primary Students’ Office in Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association (Address: Unit J1, 26/F, MG Tower, 133 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon). Due to limited office space, please reserve with is should you be interested to witness the ballot.
Apart from drawing 250 students for the Fun Day, 100 students will be drawn and put into waiting list. Successful applicants who failed to redeem the tickets(2 for each) from 27th November 2017 – 1st December 2017 (before 1:00pm) would be treated as forfeit and deemed ineligible to attend the Fun Day. Their quota will be allotted to students in the waiting list. Students in the waiting list will be notified by email before 6:00pm on 1st December 2017 if there is quota for them. They will have to redeem the tickets from 4th – 8th December 2017 (before 1:00pm) or else they would be treated as forfeit.
Successful applicant list and the waiting list will be announced on the website before 5:00pm on 24th November 2017. Notification email and SMS with event details will be sent to successful applicants and applicants in the waiting list.

All swimming classes of 'Jockey Club Learn-to-Swim Programme for Primary Students' Phase II have finished. Certificates will be issued to those who have achieved 80% attendance rate (20 lessons in total).
For those who are qualified, please collect the certificate at ‘Jockey Club Learn-to-Swim Programme for Primary Students’ Office, Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association from 30th October (Monday) to 1st December 2017 (Friday).
Please bring along your child’s birth certificate or student identification document (e.g. student handbook or student identification card) for verification. Parents/ guardians who cannot collect the certificate in person may authorize a representative to collect it on his/her behalf with an authorization letter; of which the representative’s name must be stated clearly and the letter must be signed by student’s parent/guardian.
The authorized representative must present the authorization letter and a copy of student’s birth certificate or student identification document (e.g. student handbook or student identification card) to collect the certificate.
Uncollected certificates will be destroyed in two months’ time.

To commend your child’s achievement of reaching 80% or above attendance rate in all 20 lessons of ‘Jockey Club Learn-to-Swim Programme for Primary Students’ and ranked top 10 in the Ocean Park online mini-game, we are delighted to inform you that your child is nominated to attend the ‘Education Programme: Meet the Dolphin’ (‘the Programme’). The Programme is co-organized by Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association and Ocean Park Hong Kong. Students will explore behind the scenes with dolphin trainers. Trainers will introduce simple signals so that students can interact with dolphin face to face.
Details of the Programme are as follows,
Date: 10th December, 2017 (Sunday)
Gathering Time of Group I: 14:40 pm
Gathering Time of Group II: 15:40 pm
(The tickets will show the assigned group number which is unchangeable.)
