Course schedule﹕
  • Phase I: August 2016 to January 2017
  • Phase II: February 2017 to July 2017
  • Phase III: August 2017 to January 2018
Application deadline:
  • Phase I: 26 June 2016 (Sunday)
  • Phase II: 30 November 2016 (Wednesday)
  • Phase III: 10 May 2017 (Wednesday)
(For mailed application form, the date shown on the postmark shall prevail. Late applications will not be accepted.)
Quota allocation:
  • There will be 5,500 quota for each phase. Independent applications will be held for each phase.
  • Priority will be given to those receiving the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA).
  • Students receiving full grant School Textbook Assistance (TA) will have 2nd priority for admission; students receiving half grant TA will have 3rd priority for admission
  • In case of over-subscription, quota will be allocated by drawing lots. Successful applicants will receive the voucher by registered mail and will be informed of the specific time and place to collect their swimwear, swimming cap and swimming goggles.
  • Each eligible person shall only participate in this Programme once. Those who are enrolled for Phase 2 shall not apply for Phase 3.
Lots drawing:
  • Phase III lots drawing date: 24 May 2017 (Wednesday)
  • Time: 10:00 am
  • Venue: Committee Room IV, Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
  • Drawing results will be announced before 1700 hour on 26 May 2017 (Friday) on the official website
Collecting 'vouchers'
  • Successful applicants will receive the voucher by registered mail.
Certificate and rewards
  • Certificates will be issued to those who meet 80% attendance rate.
    (Total: 20 lessons)
  • Outstanding students with certificates may be invited to participate in the Special Activities co-organized by HKASA and the Ocean Park.
